MISSION : The accountant assists the Accounting Manager or the Accounting Cycle Analyst with Group and local norms accounting activities. 
He/She handles layout, entry, verification, control, quality and consistency of accounting transactions and accounts within his/her remit. 
He/She ensures these activities comply with Group referentials and relevant country's legislation and such information is available within prescribed deadlines for preparation of financial statements.

What You Will Do

· Lead Closing Activities: Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely account reconciliations.

· Manage General Ledger: Process journal entries and ensure accurate GL coding to support seamless monthly closings.

· Handle Core Transactions: Manage and record inventory adjustments, and oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

· Ensure Data Accuracy: Prepare, upload, and validate reporting data within Group financial tools on schedule.

· Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with the Controller, Chief Accountant, and CFO to investigate and resolve complex accounting queries.

· Maintain Documentation: Draft, review, and continuously update clear and accessible process documentation.

· Monitor Compliance: Execute and uphold internal financial controls.

· Provide Financial Insights: Generate and deliver ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management.

· Language: Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

· Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills, specifically intermediate-to-advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF/COUNT functions).

· Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and autonomous, with a strict focus on accuracy and efficiency.

· Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across departments.
